Work with BTP
Beyond the Page is inviting Non-Executive Directors/Trustees to join it’s small but mighty team on a voluntary basis. We work with over 50 women a week from a migrant background in Thanet, teaching English for speakers of Other Languages, providing opportunities for support, creativity, learning and belonging.
If you think you have the skills and the time commitment to help us take the organisation forward, we would love to hear from you.

Beyond The Page
BTP is a unique non-profit organisation, combining English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) with Community Arts and Natural Voice, to offer free, safe, women-only learning spaces.
Our aim is to support Thanet women born outside the UK to find their voice and become confident, active citizens. At the heart of Beyond The Page is our United Mothers project. We provide several groups a week, face-to-face and online, for women of all ages and backgrounds to come together, practise English, make friends and contribute to our local inter-cultural community.
Our community is full of wonderful people from all over the world sharing their skills, knowledge and experience.
We are looking for warm, friendly people to join us as 1:1 speaking buddies for our online United Mothers Chatrooms project.
Multi-lingual and native English speakers are welcome.
If you share our passion for building conversations and connections, we’d love to hear from you.
You will receive:
Opportunities to support our innovative creative practice
Opportunities to help our inter-cultural community thrive and grow
Time to share your skills and knowledge and learn from others
Induction, training and reimbursable expenses.
Expected time commitment: 1 hour per week plus 2-hour termly team meetings based in Thanet/online.
